Busta Cup 2001/02

The Busta Cup 2001/02 was the 36th season of the national first-class cricket - competition in the West Indies and was held from January 25 to April 7 of 2002. The winner of the competition was Jamaica . The final round was marketed as Busta International Shield 2001/02 and was won by Guyana .

format

The eight teams played in a group against each other team twice. There are 12 points for a win, 4 points for a defeat after the first innings, 6 points for a win after the first innings in a draw, 6 points for a defeat after the first innings in a draw, 6 points for a cancellation or no decision in the first innings 4 points. The leader of the table after the group stage is the winner of the competition. The four first placed in the group played the winner of the competition in the semifinals and finals.
