Bustelo is a place and a former municipality in northern Portugal .
Bustelo belongs to the Amarante County in the Porto District . The municipality had an area of 7.7 km² and has 521 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Bustelo, Carvalho de Rei and Carneiro were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Bustelo, Carneiro e Carvalho de Rei . Bustelo is the seat of this newly formed community.
