Buttons & Rusty (Original title: The Chucklewood Critters) is an American animated series that was produced between 1992 and 1993 .

The little bear Buttons and the little fox Rusty are friends and live in Chucklewood Park. Both are always on the lookout for new adventures and like to play pranks. However, if a park resident is in danger, they are always ready to help him. However, this often leads to problems and causes distress for the park residents.
Production and publication
The series was produced in the USA between 1992 and 1993. This resulted in two seasons with 26 episodes and nine other special episodes. Directed by Bill Hutten and Tony Love. The script was written by John Bates and John Bradford. A German adaptation was done by Planet Wave Studios.
In German-speaking countries with German synchronization, the series was broadcast on RTL II , Premiere Austria and Junior . It was shown for the first time on the RTL 2 show Vampy.
