Buzyges

Buzyges ( Greek  Βουζύγης , the bull harness ) is a person of Greek mythology .

He was an old Attic hero who is said to have been the first to harness bulls to the plow. The Athenians saw him as the founder of agriculture and was also their first legislator. From him the Athenian priestly family of the Buzygen is derived , to whom, among other things, the care of the Palladion was entrusted. He was later merged with the figure of the Triptolemus .

"Buzyges" was also an epithet of Heracles .
