César Silvera , full name César Fernando Silvera Fontela , (born May 6, 1971 in Montevideo ) is a former Uruguayan football player .

Career

societies

The 1.74 meter tall midfielder Silvera was a member of the Club Atlético Peñarol team from 1990 to mid-1991 . He then played for FC Lugano in Switzerland until mid-1994 , where he played eight league games in the 1991/92 season, in which he scored one goal. A year followed in the ranks of Ferro Carril Oeste . For the Argentinians, he played 20 games in the Primera División and scored two goals. In the 1995/96 season he was part of the FC Villarreal squad . For the last six months of 2006, Club Olimpia was his employer. In 1997 he played for Unión Española and was used in a league game (no goal). In early 2008 he joined the Tacuary Football Club for two years . In the first half of 2000 he was listed at Villa Española . From there he moved to Maccabi Herzlia in July 2000 . His engagement with the Israelis lasted until the end of 2002. Then he joined GE Brasil Pelotas in Brazil in January 2003 . In early November 2004 he was briefly committed to the Polish club Pogoń Stettin , where he ran up in two league matches by the end of the year and scored one goal. After a period in which no club was run for him, he was again a member of the GE Brasil Pelotas team from the end of January 2006 to the end of April 2006.

National team

Silvera made his debut on May 5, 1991 in the 0-1 away defeat in the friendly international match against the US national team in the Uruguayan senior team when he was ordered by coach Pedro Ramón Cubilla in the starting line-up. In the following period he completed a total of six international matches, in which he did not score a personal goal. His last international game in the "Celeste" dated June 20, 1991, when he ran under national coach Luis Alberto Cubilla in the 0-0 draw against the selection of Peru .
