Caile Ferate Forestiere
The Căile Ferate Forestiere , abbreviated to CFF , was a state-owned railway company in Romania . The company was founded in 1948 as a concessionaire for field , forest and factory railways . Among these were
- the Maramaros salt railways,
- the Borsec mineral water track ,
- the CFF Berzasca ,
- the CFF Covasna ,
- the CFF Câmpu Cetății ,
- the CFF Orăștie ,
- the CFF Tismana ,

Only the latter is still in operation and is now owned by a timber company. Sister companies were the Romanian state railway Căile Ferate Române (CFR) and the Căile Ferate Industri (CFI). The latter looks after the nationalized industrial railways .
