CE Feiling

CE Feiling , actually Carlos Eduardo Antonio Feiling (born June 5, 1961 in Rosario , Sante Fe province , † July 22, 1997 in Buenos Aires ), was an Argentine writer.

Feiling studied at the Universidad de Buenos Aires a . a. Linguistics and Pedagogy. Immediately after completing his studies, he was entrusted with a teaching position for philosophy at the Universidad Nacional de Lomas de Zamora ( Gran Buenos Aires ) and the Universidad de San Andrés . He later moved to the University of Nottingham as a lecturer in Latin American literature .

Feiling's first literary attempts go back to the time of his studies; but he was only able to debut as a writer in 1992. He became known under CE Feiling and under this name he published all of his works.

Feiling fell ill with leukemia and died seven weeks after his 36th birthday on July 22, 1997. His fourth novel “La tierra esmeralda” remained unfinished.

In 2020 the feature film El prófugo was made , which the Argentine director Natalia Meta freely based on Feiling's novel El mal menor .
