C. von Dornau
C. von Dornau ( pseudonym for Charlotte von Schauroth , born August 12, 1866 as Elisabeth Wilhelmine Charlotte Laue in Magdeburg , † May 1, 1945 in Gotha ) was a German writer .
Life
C. von Dornau was born as the daughter of the businessman Wilhelm Heinrich Adolf Laue and Charlotte Louise Klara. Rüdiger was born and married Captain Friedrich Carl Alexander Freiherr von Schauroth on October 10, 1892 (born December 7, 1855 in Gotha). After 1900 she lived in Groß-Lichterfelde near Berlin. In the 1940s she was based in Gotha . She was the author of a number of - mostly humorous - entertainment novels .

Reviews
The monthly magazine Die Literatur von 1915 says about one of her books : " C. von Dornau would be a bad mastermind if she could not let the pretty figurines of her dolls' box jumble around so that the reader's heart puppets with tension and yet she basically does has the reassured feeling: it must end well. "
