CA Dudelange

CA Dudelange , officially Cercle Athletique Dudelange , just CAD for short , is a Luxembourgish athletics club from Dudelange ( French Dudelange ). Home of the club is the local Stade JF Kennedy . For women, the club won the national team championship from 1996 to 1999, 2002 to 2004, 2007 and 2016 to 2019.

Among others, Roland Bombardella , René Kilburg , Lambert Micha , Marc Romersa and Michael Velter started for the club .

Other departments

Within the club, which was founded in 1932, there used to be departments for handball and basketball . In the years 1956 to 1959 the handball department was the Luxembourg champions for men, in the year of the last triumph the department was spun off and an independent handball club was founded with HB Dudelange . The basketball department had existed within CA Dudelange since 1954 and joined the outsourced handball club in 1959, and T71 Dudelange was founded twelve years later .
