CCL23 ( English CC chemokine ligand 23 ) is a cytokine belonging to the family of the C-C chemokines .

properties

CCL23 is involved in inflammatory processes. It is chemotactic for resting T cells and, to a lesser extent, neutrophils . CCL23 is produced in the lungs and liver and, to a lesser extent, in the bone marrow and placenta . It is induced by interleukin-4 .
