COAS International Squash Championship 2016

The COAS International Squash Championship 2016 took place from September 29th to October 2nd, 2016 in Islamabad , Pakistan . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2016/17 and belonged to the PSA 25 category .

Last year's winner was Mohamed Abouelghar , who did not run again. Omar Abdel Meguid won the title after beating Ivan Yuen in the final .

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. Per Wildcard received Bilal Zakir a spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize money was $ 25,000.
