COR ( lat. 'Heart') is a German hardcore band from the island of Rügen . Musically, the band combines hardcore with strong thrash metal elements.

history

The band was founded on the island of Rügen in 2002 by the former Barrel Tumbler and Troopers drummer Friedemann Hinz and the former Sumatra members Johannes Hinz, Christian Jungnickel and Matthias Arndt. Since its inception, the band has played more than 350 concerts, including a tour with Tendencia in Cuba. In 2015 the documentary Actitud Es Lo Que Cuenta - Cuba Cor Libre was released , which deals with the Cuba tour and its accompanying circumstances. In terms of content, the band mainly deals with social criticism.
