Friedemann Hinz

Friedemann Hinz (* 1975 in Bergen auf Rügen ) is a German punk musician and singer. He is best known as the singer of COR , but is also active as a solo artist under the name Friedemann .

Life

Friedemann Hinz grew up in Bergen on Rügen as the son of a respected furrier family. Both parents were involved in the church and raised him Christian and with a certain distance to the GDR system . One of his two godfathers was a pastor in Bergen on Rügen. Hinz developed into a free thinker who, in his youth, sought to get close to the punk subculture. In 1991 he started as a drummer at Barrel Fall , which was active until 2001. He then founded the hardcore punk band COR. Here he took over the singing, where he sings both German and Low German songs. From 2004 to 2007 he was the drummer for Troopers .

In 2014 his solo album Uhr vs. Time .

Private life

Friedemann Hinz is a trained bricklayer . He lives with his family on a farm on Rügen .
