Bundesliga

After relegation from the First Bundesliga in 2009, the Chemnitz women played in the Second Bundesliga South and finished in fourth place in the first season after relegation (2009/10). Also in the following season the women of the Chemnitz Police Sports Club celebrated fourth place. In the 2011/12 season they held the class in tenth place in the table and placed eighth in the table at the end of the 2012/13 season. After the end of the 2013/2014 season, a sixth place in the table could be booked. After relegation from the second division in 2015, they moved one class deeper into the regional league. In the 2015/16 season, after a fresh start as regional league champion, direct promotion to the 3rd division was achieved. There the first place and thus the athletic promotion to the 2nd league was achieved straight away.

More teams

The second women's team plays in the district class. The men's team was relegated from the district league in the 2016/17 season and is now represented in the Chemnitz East district class. These teams all compete as the Chemnitz Police Sports Club.
