An RDRAM and its associated CRIMM

The abbreviation CRIMM stands for Continuity Rambus In-Line Memory Module and describes passive elements that are required on some computer motherboards to allow RDRAM memory (special memory module from Rambus ) to function correctly. Some memory controllers for RDRAM memory require that actual memory modules be installed in pairs and that empty slots be terminated with a CRIMM.
