The CSA SportCruiser of the Kunovice- based Czech manufacturer Czech Sport Aircraft (formerly Czech Aircraft Works) took off on its maiden flight in 2006. The PiperSport LT (training aircraft) and the PiperSport LTD (business travel aircraft) are offered as variants. The first delivery took place in April 2010. Depending on the version, the price is between 120,000 and 140,000 US dollars (as of May 2010). At the beginning of 2011 Piper ended the cooperation, the reason given was "differences in business philosophy ". Since then, the sport cruiser has been sold directly by CSA again.
