Cabo de Palos
The Cabo de Palos is a prominent cape near La Manga del Mar Menor on the Costa Cálida , the southeast coast of Spain . The cape is between Cartagena and San Pedro del Pinatar . On the cape there is a striking beacon on a stone-colored lighthouse on a two-story lighthouse keeper's house above the cliff .

The tower sends a DGPS signal ( station identifier : 518, frequency: 302.0 kHz, range: 180 nautical miles).
In a northeastern direction, fired shallows and islands extend over 3.5 nautical miles.
- To the northeast is Cabo de la Nao (Alicante).
- To the west is Cabo de Gata (Almería).
