Lesbians on Ecstasy are a Canadian electronica band from Montreal ( Québec ).
history
Before releasing their first record on Alien8 Recording, the group toured Canada and the United States with Le Tigre . Their first album bears the band name and was released on October 26, 2004. In 2005, the song Bitchsy of her debut album was used in the TV series Queer as Folk , which made for increased awareness. In the same year, the US magazine The Advocate voted the record “Album of the Year”.
In the summer of 2005 the band released their second record Giggles in the Dark , which contained remixes by Le Tigre and the French producer Electrosexual and Branx . In spring 2007 they released their third album.
