Cachaça Magnífica
Cachaça Magnífica is a Brazilian sugar cane brandy that has been produced on the Fazenda do Anil in the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro since 1985 .

Cachaça Magnífica is made in the traditional way in copper stills and is offered in three different variants, each of which goes through different maturation processes before being bottled at cask strength :
- Magnífica Tradicional : two years of aging in Brazilian Ipê wooden barrels, 45% vol.
- Magnífica Envelhecida : two years of aging in Scotch whiskey barrels, 43% vol.
- Magnífica Reserva Soleira : Maturation for up to ten years in oak barrels using the Soleira method, 43% vol.
The Magnífica Reserva Soleira is expanded using the Soleira method, which is rarely used in Brazil . This process comes from the Spanish sherry and brandy production and is occasionally also used for rum .
Awards
Cachaça Magnífica was voted 9th in the Cachaça ranking of the Brazilian edition of Playboy magazine in 2007 by a jury of experts and in 2009 it was voted 5th among the best cachaças in Brazil.
In 2008 and 2009, Cachaça Magnífica received silver medals at the International Spirits Challenge under the UK brand name Las Iguanas .
In 2010, Cachaça Magnífica was awarded a silver medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Origin of name
“ Magnífica ” is translated from Portuguese as splendid, splendid or magnificent. The name arose from the claim of the Magnífica producer to produce a cachaça of above-average quality.
