Cairn Ridge is a mountain ridge up to 1010 m high in the West Antarctic Queen Elizabeth Land . It connects to the northern flank of the Dufek massif and rises 3 km northeast of Hannah Peak in the Pensacola Mountains .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy in the years from 1956 to 1966. Named the ridge for a is cairns ( English cairn ) that an American built team in December 1957 him that explored this area by land from Ellsworth Station during the International Geophysical Year (1957–1958) .
