Caius Welcker
Jan Herman "Caius" Welcker (born July 9, 1885 in Alkmaar , † February 13, 1939 in Schiedam ) was a Dutch football player .
Welcker played for the Haagsche Voetbalvereeniging Quick , where he and Edu Snethlage formed the right wing. In 1908 Quick won the Dutch championship . Welcker played 17 international matches for the Dutch national soccer team and scored five goals. At the Olympic Games in 1908, Welcker took part in two games. In the semi-finals, the Dutch lost to Great Britain 0: 4; in the game for third place they beat Sweden 2-0.
