Cajetan friend
Cajetan Freund (* 1873 ; † 1962 ) was a German journalist.
Career
Freund began his journalistic career as an editor for Frankfurter Nachrichten . In 1897 he came to the Augsburger Abendzeitung and in 1914 became its editor-in-chief. In 1918 he switched to the Münchener Zeitung as a political editor .
From 1915 he was chairman of the regional association of the Bavarian press and from 1926 chairman of the Reich association of the German press .
