The Cala Carbo is a small pebble and sandy beach bay in the west of Ibiza . It belongs to the municipality of Sant Josep de sa Talaia and is located between Cala d´Hort and Cala Vadella . Cala Carbo is about 25 minutes by car from Ibiza town . It can be reached by following the road from Sant Josep de sa Talaia to Cala Vadella, shortly after the junction for Cala d´Hort, turning left. There are 2 restaurants right on the beach of Cala Carbo, which both meet the needs of bathers and invite you to enjoy a good meal in the evening. Apart from the gastronomy on the beach and the apartment complex above the bay, Cala Carbo is still natural and rarely full of tourists. The bay is protected from the open sea and beneath pine-clad slopes. Due to its predominantly pebble beach, it is more of a meeting place for residents.
