Attractions

There are two places of worship in Cabriès: First the village church with the name Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption ( English : Assumption of Mary ). The three-aisled church was built between 1866 and 1869. The construction was made possible by a donation from a villager.

The chapel Notre Dame de la Salette is older . According to some historians, their history goes back to the 4th or 5th century. At least that is what the shrine in the church suggests. Until the inauguration of the new church in 1869, this church served the village as a parish church. It has been rebuilt several times over the centuries. On the north-west side of the church there was a small cemetery that was discovered by chance in the 18th century. Every Easter Monday there is a procession at the chapel, during which horses and their riders are blessed. This tradition originated in 1958.

The former castle Château de Trébillane is located around 200 meters outside the town center . Today there is a farm with the facility Oustau per Toùti ( Eng .: house for everyone ), which was established by the municipality in 1993. She has been the owner of the farm since 1985.
