The Calliope Beach ( English ; Bulgarian бряг Калиопа brjag Kaliopa ) is a 2.9 km long beach in the northeast of Snow Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is east of Karposh Point and north of Oeagrus Beach on the north side of President Head .
Bulgarian scientists named him in 2020 after the muse Kalliope , daughter of Zeus from Greek mythology .
