The Morton Strait is a strait in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is bounded in the southwest by Snow Island and in the northwest by Rugged Island and Livingston Island . The Aim Rocks and Long Rock are within the passage .
The name first appears on a map by the British navigator James Weddell from 1825 and has been established ever since.
