Cama are an Austrian songwriter and pop duo. The band name is made up of the first letters of the members Carmen and Matthi.

history

Maier and Kadoff, who come from Tyrol, started out as songwriters in 2004 and wrote the title Fade Away , with which Kadoff made it to the Ö3 Soundcheck final in 2007 . They were then signed by Sony BMG and recorded their debut album A Handful of Songs in 2008 with keyboardist and producer David Bronner , which was released on October 9, 2009. With the debut single In This Life they made it into the Austrian charts straight away.

In autumn 2010 Cama was nominated for the Austrian preliminary decision for the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest with the song Times of Our Lives .
