She worked with various photographers , had regular appearances on the Brazilian TV show Superpop and was to get her own reality TV show . On July 26, 2005, she jumped under the influence of drugs from the balcony of her apartment on the 8th floor of a building in São Paulo - exactly one month earlier, on June 26, she had publicly announced her engagement. The reason for her presumed suicide is still unclear. The initially widespread rumors about an HIV infection, of which she learned shortly before her death, were not confirmed.
