Camille-Christophe Gerono

Camille-Christophe Gerono (* 1799 in Paris ; † 1891 ibid) was a French mathematician and co-editor with Olry Terquem of the Nouvelles annales de mathématiques , which existed from 1842 to 1927. It was originally intended for students who were preparing for admission to elite schools. He was mainly concerned with geometry . The Geronosche lemniscate , sometimes also eight- curve , was named after him. He published it in his 1854 geometry textbook.

Gerono also published on geometry and number theory in the Annales de Gergonne .
