Camillo Wanausek (born January 27, 1906 in Vienna ; † June 29, 1999 there ) was an Austrian flautist .
Wanausek first learned the piano and later learned to play the flute by himself in order to be able to play in a musical band founded by his older brother. He also made numerous solo appearances and taught at the Vienna Conservatory.
On December 15, 1944, Wanausek recorded the first broadcast of Paul Graener's Concerto for Flute and Orchestra (op. 116) under the direction of the conductor Rudolf Nilius in what was then the Vienna Reichsender .
In 1981 von Wanausek published 10 miniatures for 4 flutes in print.
