The 2014 season of the Campeonato Nacional de Fútbol de Cuba took place from January 25th to May 31st and was already the 99th season. The champion was the selection from Ciego de Ávila , the second place was taken by the record champion Villa Clara . The teams from the provinces of Holguín and Pinar del Río finished last and had to compete in a qualifying tournament with the six provinces that were not qualified in the 2014 season before the start of the following season.
