background

The song is about a family's preparations and a camping trip . The refrain sums up the odds of the camping trip:

“Do laachs do dich kapott, dat calls mer Cämping, do laachs do dich kapott, dat fingk mer beautiful. If a tent de Mökke un de Hummele verjökke you, then you can't get out of it. "

“You laugh yourself to pieces, that's called camping, you laugh yourself to pieces, that's nice. When the mosquitoes and bumblebees bite you in the tent and you can't get out in the rain. "
