Campo del Sole is a sculpture park near Tuoro sul Trasimeno on the shores of Lake Trasimeno .

Between 1985 and 1989, 27 sculptors created 27 works on the subject of “ pillar ” from the locally occurring ferrous sandstone Pietra serena, each approx. 4.50 meters high and approx. 1.00 meters in diameter. The columns were arranged in a spiral and the park was decorated with accompanying sculptures. The project was conceived and realized by the sculptors Mauro Berettini and Pietro Cascella, as well as the sculptor Cordelia von den Steinen. The curator of the project was the art historian and art critic Enrico Crispolti.
