The Canaries River (German: "Canaries River") is a river on the west coast of the Caribbean island of St. Lucia .
geography
The river has its source in the center of the island in the sparsely populated center in the La Verdune area , right on the border of the Quarter Canaries and Soufrière in the south. It runs to the west and flows into the Caribbean Sea at Canaries in Canaries Bay . Its mouth and the alluvial cone form the southern tip of Canaries Bay. The border between Soufrière and Anse-La-Raye follows its course over long stretches.
