Cangwu

Cangwu ( Chinese  苍梧 县 , Pinyin Cāngwú Xiàn ; Zhuang Canghvuz Yen ) is a district of the prefecture -level city of Wuzhou on the eastern edge of the Guangxi Autonomous Region of the Zhuang in the People's Republic of China . It has an area of ​​2,782 km² and has a population of 550,368 (2010 census). Its main town is Shiqiao (石桥镇).

The former residence of Li Jishen (Li Jishen guju 李济深 故居) has been on the List of Monuments of the People's Republic of China (4-224) since 1996 .

Administrative structure

After the administrative reform in February 2013, in which Cangwu was significantly reduced in size (see: Longxu District ), the district consists of nine large parishes. These are:

  • Greater community Shiqiao (石桥镇), seat of the district government;
  • Greater community Jingnan (京南镇);
  • Libu Municipality (梨 埠镇);
  • Greater community Lingjiao (岭脚镇);
  • Greater community Liubu (六堡镇);
  • Greater community Mushuang (木双镇);
  • Greater community Shatou (沙头镇);
  • Greater community Shizhai (狮寨镇);
  • Greater community Wangfu (旺甫镇).
