Cantaro (volume measure)

In addition to the unit of weight, the Cantaro was a Spanish wine measure. In different places like Madrid and Bilbao the measure was the arroba major and in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil it was the pota. In Asturias and Oviedo it was true

• 1 Cantaro = 926 Parisian cubic inches = 18 7/20 liters
• 1 Moja = 16 Cantaro
• 1 pipe = 27 Cantaro
• 1 Botta = 30 Cantaro
• 1 Mitjeta = 1/16 Cantaro
