Cao Bao

Cao Bao ( Chinese  曹豹 , Pinyin Cáo Bào , W.-G. Ts'ao Pao ; † around 196 ) was a vassal of the Chinese warlord Tao Qian and foster father of Lü Bu . When Cao Cao attacked Xuzhou , his general Xiahou Dun and Cao Bao clashed. Cao Bao was defeated in the battle and had to withdraw.

After Tao Qian's defeat, Cao Bao went to Liu Bei's service, but was killed in a fight with Zhang Fei .
