The Cap André Prud'homme is a cape in the Géologie archipelago off the coast of the East Antarctic Adélieland . It protrudes into the Baie Pierre Lejay . The cape is one of the few places in the Géologie archipelago where it is possible to land by ship and access the Antarctic ice sheet .

French scientists made the naming. It is named after the French meteorologist André Prud'homme (1920-1959), who went missing in a snow storm not far from the Cape on January 7, 1959 .
