Capaul

Capaul (French Capoul , Chapaul, Capaull, Kapaul) is the name of an old Bündner Oberland family whose origins come from the Lugnez - or Rhaeto-Romanic name of the valley - in the Val Lumnezia . The Capaul occur particularly in Lumbrein .

Origin of the Capaul

The Capaul have been the owners of the Chisti residential tower since the 16th century and are related to the free church people of the Disentis Monastery and vassals Lumerins , who can also be proven to be employers in Lumbrein.
