Cape Koamaru is a cape in the Marlborough District on the South Island of New Zealand .

Cape Koamaru is located around 38 km northeast of Picton and around 39 km northwest of Wellington , at the northern end of Arapawa Island .
The cape, together with Cape Jackson, which is around 12 km northwest, forms the entrance to Queen Charlotte Sound / Tōtaranui . On the western side of the cape, a chain of rocks, called Ngaturuturu , extends over 350 m in a north-westerly direction into the sea. They find their continuation almost 2 km northwest in the White Rocks , six small rock islands, which are about 300 m apart.
The Brothers archipelago is around 5 km to the southeast . On the northern island of the group is the Brothers Island Lighthouse that ships sailing the Cook Strait draws attention to Arapawa Island with its shallows.
Cape Koamaru cannot be reached by land.
