Cape Lambert is a cape in the Marlborough District on the South Island of New Zealand .
geography
Cape Lambert is located around 38 km northeast of Picton and around 56 km northwest of Wellington , at the northern end of an approximately 5 km long headland that borders Te Anamāhanga / Port Gore Bay in the north-west.
The cape, together with Cape Jackson, located around 6.8 km east of it, forms the entrance to the Te Anamāhanga / Port Gore bay, which protrudes around 10 km deep into the peninsula .
Cape Lambert cannot be reached by land.
