Caprima is an urban leisure pool in Dingolfing in Lower Bavaria . With around 280,000 visitors annually, the leisure facility is one of the most popular in the Lower Bavarian region.

history

The Caprima bath was opened in 1983. In addition to the traditional swimming and paddling pool, the pool has since then offered an indoor wave pool , a “grotto”, a hot pool, slides and various saunas. The outdoor swimming area was redesigned into a Mediterranean terrace landscape between 1999 and 2000. The sauna area was renewed for the first time in 2001. Caprima Kinderland has been a partner of Bayern Tourismus Marketing GmbH since 2003 . In 2014 the outdoor pool landscape was redesigned. The 50-meter pool was partially converted into an adventure pool with a flow channel, bubble loungers and water curtains. There are still four 50-meter and three 25-meter lanes available for swimmers. The increase in the water surface to approx. 45 cm above the barefoot area and LED strips in the pool border increase the visual attractiveness. A massage mushroom, a new children's pool and a six-meter-high climbing wall complete the offer. In 2017 the sauna area was completely renewed as a "wellness world". New here are two more saunas in the outdoor area, a brine inhalarium and a catering area.

The Caprima is also the place for events such as cinema evenings, open-air cinema, summer parties and morning pints .
