The Captain James Berry House is in the 1840s in the style of Greek Revival built house in West Harwich in the state of Massachusetts of the United States . It is made of wood and the roof is covered with asphalt shingles. It was named after its first owner, Capt. James Berry, who worked as a ship's captain on a clipper . It is still owned by the Berry family today. On September 26, 1986, it was inscribed on the National Register of Historic Places .
