Caramelle (* 1988 in Itzehoe , Schleswig-Holstein , as Aileen Dankyi-Sampong ) is an R&B / POP singer from Germany.

Biography and Discography

The German-born singer with German-Ghanaian roots Aileen Dankyi-Sampong alias "Caramelle" achieved a top 50 position with the cover version of Self Control (original by Laura Branigan ) in the Media Control Charts at the age of 18 (February 14, 2007) (KONTOR records). There was also a music video that was broadcast across Europe. Caramelle toured Germany and Austria for over a year.

At the end of 2007, the second single, Last Christmas , was released, a cover version of the band “Wham!”, With which the singer achieved high download charts worldwide. B. 1st place in Korea, Iran and Poland.

During this time she toured a. a. with US rapper DMX , and began a modeling career. In 2008 the single Amazing Grace was released . The specialty: this was the first published single in which Caramelle also worked as a songwriter.

In 2009 the single No Crime was released , Caramelle wrote the lyrics and worked on the second music video together with the production company B&M Productions.

Today Caramelle works as a singer and model / actress as well as a medical assistant.
