Carina Schnell
Carina Schnell (* 1991 in Kaufungen ) is a German fantasy author and literary translator based in Switzerland.
Life
After graduating from high school, Carina Schnell completed a bachelor's degree in translation studies at the University of Heidelberg and a master's in legal and commercial translation at the University of Geneva . In addition to her studies, she also worked as a teacher for German as a foreign language. From 2016 she was a distance learning student at the Textmanufaktur's school of authors.
Her debut novel The Courtesan - Awakening of Passion and its sequel The Magician - Decision from Passion was published in 2017 in the Imprint Forever of Ullstein Verlag . In 2018 she published the fantasy novel Alba - Between the Worlds by Droemer Knaur . 2019 followed with Alba - In the Shadow of the Worlds of the Successor.
Carina Schnell lives and works in Switzerland and, in addition to her work as a writer, works as a freelance translator for Droemer Knaur and Piper-Verlag , among others . She is a member of the Federal Association of Young Authors .
