Carinthian Falcons

The Carinthian Falcons were an Austrian American football team from the Carinthian state capital Klagenfurt .

The team was originally founded in June 2000 in Feldkirchen as Feldkirchen Falcons . In 2001 the club moved to Klagenfurt, and one year later it changed its name to the Carinthian Falcons . The Falcons' club colors were red and silver . The club's home location was Koschatplatz and the ASV-Platz training center in Klagenfurt.

In 2001 and 2002 the Falcons won the Silver Bowl in Division I with victories against the Amstetten Thunderbolts and the second team of the Vienna Vikings . They then rose to the Austrian Football League , in which they reached the play-offs in 2003 . In 2005 they merged with the newly formed Carinthian Black Lions .
