Caritas Slovakia

The Slovak Catholic Caritas, Slovakian Slovenská Katolícka Charita (SKCH), founded in 1927, is a social aid organization of the Roman Catholic Church in the umbrella organization Caritas Internationalis , based in Bratislava .

Its mission is to provide non-profit, social, medical and educational services to people in need, regardless of race, religion or political belief.

Activities include education, special education, social and medical care, home work, children, young people, single parents, elderly and disabled people, hospice work , assistance for migrants and asylum seekers; Roma families are of particular concern .

It provides humanitarian aid and development work at home and abroad.
