The Carl-Julius-Weber-Gedenkstube is a small literature museum established in 1987 in the town hall of Langenburg an der Jagst , which commemorates the writer and satirist Karl Julius Weber , who was born in this house (memorial plaque).

The room contains furniture from the time of Carl Julius Weber and a collection of his works, including the letters of a German traveling in Germany (Stuttgart 1826–1828), Democritus or papers left behind by a laughing philosopher (Stuttgart 1832–1840) as well as other historical and anthropological ones Fonts. There are also some items from Weber's personal property.

In addition, books and pictures by the writer Agnes Günther are exhibited, who lived as dean's wife in Langenburg from 1891 to 1907 and wrote her novel The Holy and Her Fool here .

The room is used by the registry office as a wedding room.

Others

Langenburg Castle (in the novel Brauneck ) and the nearby castles Morstein ( Thorstein ) near Gerabronn and Tierberg ( Schweigen ) near Braunsbach are the settings of the novel Die Heilige und ihr Narr (1913) by Agnes Günther, who lived in the deanery (Hauptstrasse 10) ( Memorial plaque).
