Carl Boos (judge)

Carl Boos (born May 2, 1873 in Elberfeld (now part of Wuppertal ), † August 10, 1964 in Heilbronn ) was a German judge .

Life

Boos was sworn in to the Prussian sovereign in 1894. In 1896 he received his doctorate in Leipzig. In 1904 he was appointed district judge and in 1913 district court director. In April 1921 he came to the Reichsgericht as an assistant judge and one year later he became a Reich judge . He was active in the 5th and 4th Criminal Senate and in the 4th Civil Senate of the Imperial Court . When he reached the age limit in 1938, he retired. Boos lived between 1912 and 1934 with the singing teacher Ida Schluckebier (called Waldeck) in Leipzig.
