Carl Claus Hagenbeck
Carl Claus Hagenbeck (born November 1, 1941 in Hamburg ) is a German veterinarian . From 1982 to 2004 he managed the Hagenbeck Zoo in Hamburg.
Carl Claus Hagenbeck was born as the son of Carl-Heinrich Hagenbeck (1911–1977); his great-grandfather was the Hamburg zoo founder Carl Hagenbeck . From 1962 to 1967 he studied veterinary medicine at the University of Veterinary Medicine in Hanover and received his doctorate as Dr. med. vet. Hagenbeck is married and has two daughters.
